I was just talking with my wife about this technique yesterday, good stuff.
- Spindle=Hardwood
- Bow=Branch with natural curve
- Cord=Bootlace, Root, Rope
- Fireboard=Softwood
- Socket=Hollowed stone, wood
Easier in dryer climates at low altitude.
